Kathy Provost

Managing Director, Account Management 

Kathy found her passion for recruiting in 2000, after a career in training and development and HR consulting. She began as a corporate contract recruiter for medical device clients, founded her own medical device recruiting practice, and then joined Agile Search in 2017. Kathy has a degree in History from Dartmouth College and a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Organization Development from Antioch University. Her current area of interest is the onboarding process and how managers can leverage the unique skills of their new hires to increase retention.
Prior to joining the recruiting field, Kathy had a stint as a personal historian offering her services to individuals who wanted to capture their stories in a personal memoir. She carries this experience with her into recruiting, as she believes everyone has his or her “story” that reveals key motivators which she is eager to learn.

John Compton


John has served as a Medical Device Industry Executive Recruiter, building relationships specifically in New England since 2002.  John’s relationship with the medical device industry began three years earlier, however, when after transitioning from the military, John was offered a Sales and Marketing role in the semiconductor industry, where he gained an appreciation of fast-moving technology and corporate culture. After the birth of his first child and a move to New England, John joined the Bowdoin Group in Wellesley, MA to help grow an emerging medical technology talent search business.
While living in Boston, John earned his MBA, focused on Entrepreneurship, from Babson College, and launched his own recruiting practice, Agile Search, Inc., in August 2005.
