Kathy Provost

Managing Director, Account Management 

Kathy found her passion for recruiting in 2000, after a career in training and development and HR consulting. She began as a corporate contract recruiter for medical device clients, founded her own medical device recruiting practice, and then joined Agile Search in 2017. Kathy has a degree in History from Dartmouth College and a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Organization Development from Antioch University. Her current area of interest is the onboarding process and how managers can leverage the unique skills of their new hires to increase retention.
 
Prior to joining the recruiting field, Kathy had a stint as a personal historian offering her services to individuals who wanted to capture their stories in a personal memoir. She carries this experience with her into recruiting, as she believes everyone has his or her “story” that reveals key motivators which she is eager to learn.

John Compton

President 

John has served as a Medical Device Industry Executive Recruiter, building relationships in the sector since 2002. John is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, NY where he earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering while playing on the varsity ice hockey team and then serving as a US Army Officer. After transitioning from the military, John performed Sales and Marketing roles in the semiconductor industry, where he gained an appreciation of fast-moving technology and corporate culture.

While living in Boston, John earned his MBA, focused on Social Entrepreneurship, from Babson College. He launched his own medical technology recruiting practice, Agile Search, Inc., in August 2005, with the goal to create a talent search enterprise that sets the example of how a business can give back to an ecosystem, as much as it gains.
